Following two stern performances without reward against Chelsea and Arsenal, Southampton travel to Leicester City in the hope of it being a third-attempt-lucky.

The Saints have been somewhat unfortunate of late, two consecutive 3-2 defeats at the hands of the top six clubs has been crushing for fans alike, however should give optimists hope of another good performance at the Foxes.

Being five points from safety as well, every game is starting to become bigger for the south-coast club, another loss at the hands of former manager Claude Puel would only condemn Southampton’s potential Championship status even more, with this salt-in-the-wounds.

It could be argued that the midlands club have nothing to play for, looking likely for a 9th/8th place finish which ironically sounds amazing to a Saints fan right now – however the Foxes do posses talent that could really damage our survival hopes, so who could they be?
