Southampton: 3 Saints players who’ve impressed despite start

It has certainly been tough start to the season for Southampton and they currently look to be in for another season-long scrap at the bottom of the Premier League.

Just one win has come for Mark Hughes’ side in the league so far and they will be needing to string some positive results together in their Christmas schedule to fire themselves up the table.

Good signs were there to see in the 1-1 draw with Watford last weekend, but the pressure on Hughes and his squad will only continue to rise if a positive result doesn’t come in the upcoming clash with Fulham.

Despite their poor form as a team, some of the individuals have put in some excellent performances to highlight themselves as key parts of the side.
