Southampton Saints striker Charlie Austin has his view on a massive week ahead for the Saints in the Europa League and Premier League.

On fire Saints striker Charlie Austin says he’s relishing a massive week for the Saints, which includes a trip to three times Champions League winners, Inter Milan. This is a prestigious match for Southampton even if Inter are not at their usual heights these days.

The Serie A club are currently in the bottom half of the league table and have been beset with controversy surrounding their captain, Mauro Icardi.

Austin, who signed from QPR last January, has bagged 7 goals in 6 games for the Saints including a brace against Burnley at the weekend. He has been an excellent replacement for the departed Graziano Pelle who opted for big money in China over the rigors of the Premier League and Europa League competitions.

Whilst talking to the Saints Official Website, he said: “I’m delighted with my own form but it’s all about the team at the moment because we’re on a great run“

“We’ve got a big game on Thursday night and then two tough ones against Manchester City and Chelsea. People say the international break can stop the run but we’ve put an end to that and got three points, starting where we left off“.
