Preston’s Pick: Sofiane Boufal

The long-awaited record signing may finally get some play time, methinks. He’s been working back up to fitness and gotten involved in first-team training lately but wasn’t on the bench for Burnley despite Claude Puel saying he’d be in consideration. To me, this means he’s being held back for bigger things, and what bigger stage than the San Siro to make his debut in red and white?

Hickson’s Pick: Sofiane Boufal

Saints’s record signing is yet to play for his new club, but I think that our trip to the San Siro is the perfect venue for him to kick off his Saints career. Hopefully, Sofiane will be able to use his skills to get through the Inter Milan back line, which includes Italian international Andrea Ranocchia. 7,000 Saints fans will be their to see what he’s got and I’m sure he’ll prove himself straight away!
