Here’s where we start to see some debate between our contributors. Matt Hickson seems to think that we’ll be going for 4-2-3-1 with some wing action; personally, I don’t see Puel changing what’s been working very well for Southampton so far. Guess we’ll see who’s got the right of it tomorrow! Here’s Hickson’s picks for the wings.

Hickson’s Pick: Dusan Tadic/Nathan Redmond

Dusan has had a fantastic start to the season. When he joined Southampton in 2014, he was very inconsistent and struggled to pick up any form whatsoever. However, consistency is not a problem for Dusan this year, as he is the top Premier League chance maker. He has created 27 chances for Saints in total this season in the PL. I reckon he could have a big impact in Thursday’s match, and add to his 27 created chances this season.

Nathan Redmond was signed by Saints in the summer transfer window of 2016, and has impressed since. Claude Puel has mainly played Nathan in a more forward role, but on Thursday, I think that he will push him out wide more and play him Right-Wing. He can then get in behind the Inter defence and feed it into Charlie Austin, and/or then get a shot away at goal.
