Left Back – Ryan Bertrand

Bertrand is back in action and gets the nod here over Sam McQueen in my book. McQueen has been sublime in relief of Bertrand and Matt Targett, the latter of whom he might leapfrog in the pecking order, but in a match like this, you go with experience when you have it. McQueen is no stranger to big games (how’s Inter Milan for your first start? At the San Siro, no less) but I’d feel much more comfortable watching number 21 step out onto that field tomorrow.
