3. Gylfi Sigurdsson

Arguably the most obvious face to see on this list is that of Gylfi Sigurdsson, who has enjoyed another stellar season playing for Swansea City.

The Icelandic playmaker is one appearance short of hitting a century in the league for the Welsh club since joining them in 2014 for his second spell with the side, and over that time he as scored 26 goals.

What’s more, the 27-year-old is leading the side in assists this season with 11, whilst also notching up a further eight goals and averaging 2.1 key passes per game.

What can’t be denied however is that Gylfi has the potential to play for a top six team, or even Everton who look set to finish seventh.

However the dead-ball wizard will have memories of his spell at Tottenham fresh in his mind,  when he scored just eight goals in two seasons and was deployed more-often-than-not out on the left side.

With that in mind the Saints could have a shout at bringing in the former Reading man, the only issue would be as to who he would replace in the attacking midfield.
