Keiran Gibbs

Whilst he might not be the fans first choice, or a popular one by any stretch of the imagination, he shouldn’t be disregarded without thought.

Gibbs will turn 28 in September and is a seasoned left-back with years of Premier League and European experience – something that would be a nice addition to Saints’ ranks.

Arsenal are reportedly going to lower their £15 million pound asking price for the left-back and if Southampton can afford his wage demands then a cut-price deal would definitely be a steal in today’s market.

The Gunners will likely be eager to get the Englishman off their books following the arrival of Sead Kolasinac on a free, making a deal even more plausible.
