Nicolai Jørgensen – Feyenoord, Netherlands

26-year-old Danish international Nicolai Jørgensen could be on the cusp of becoming a big name in European football.

With 25 goals and and 17 assists in 41 appearances last year, the Feyenoord forward contributed immensely to the club’s first league title since 1998/99.

Following his most prolific season to date, Jørgensen has been touted as an £18 million replacement for Lukaku at Everton, as well as another potential upgrade for Janssen at Spurs.

Having already spent big this summer, Everton certainly have the resources to splash the cash following Lukaku’s big money departure. Spurs too could be looking to add alternatives to Harry Kane up front.

Like Santini, Jørgensen stands at 6’3” and is known for his aerial ability and strength. He is also a prolific goalscorer, finishing as top scorer in the Dutch league last season.

But also like Santini, he only signed for his current club last summer. Jørgensen’s contract with Feyenoord runs until 2021, which means the Rotterdam club are in a position to demand a premium for their prized asset.
