Fabian Delph

It hasn’t really worked out for Fabian Delph at Manchester City, and with Pep Guardiola’s new signings, it doesn’t look like it ever will.

The Telegraph have reported that City will be listening to offers at around £12 million for the gritty midfielder, which in today’s market, doesn’t seem to much of a gamble.

Of course fitness has been an issue for the 27-year-old throughout his career, but one full season under his belt could lift him back to the same player that was seen at Aston Villa in 2015.

Delph is no longer ‘young’ but is a talented playmaker nonetheless, and offers plenty of experience. The English international could be a surprise package this season.
