Give Cedric minutes

I rate Jeremy Pied highly and he will be fine if he is chosen to start the first couple of Premier League games whilst Cedric Soares restores his fitness.

However, I was surprised that Cedric wasn’t included in Wednesday’s squad even though he only returned on Monday. I think it is crucial to give him a good amount of time on the pitch against Sevilla but whether that will be as a member of the starting XI or as a substitute I don’t know.

Either way he needs to get get time sooner rather than later or we could be looking at as late as a September return for one of our most important players.
