The Premier League regular season is on our doorstep and Saints fans are all wondering what Mauricio Pellegrino’s starting XI will look like on August 12th.

If preseason games have shown us anything, they have established that the 4-2-3-1 is our preferred formation. However, what is not clear by any means is who Pellegrino will anoint to the coveted #10 role so vital to the Southampton attack.
