The 2017/18 Premier League is a day away, with Arsenal and Leicester set to kick-off this Friday. Meanwhile Southampton fans will see their side host Swansea on Saturday.

Most Southampton fans would’ve taken an early finish last season, with a fairly drab showing from the past five or six game-weeks on the whole.

However it’s been over 70 days since the Saints played competitive football and with the new season kicking off in just a matter of days, the supporters are more eager than ever.

Despite a thrashing at the hands of Augsburg Southampton have been promising throughout pre-season, with Mauricio Pellegrino showing signs that he sets up his team in a dynamic, attacking style.

But how will the Saints fare? Who will stand out and who will have a campaign to forget? Saints Marching Site Expert Chris Hughes and contributors Conor Dunford, Nikos Lemanis, Luke Dennis and Dan Hargraves all have their say.
