Who will flop the hardest?

Chris: I think this’ll be Dusan Tadic’s last season at Southampton. I’d love to see a attacking midfield line of Boufal-JWP-Redmond and if it comes into fruition then I don’t think Dusan has the mentality to win his starting place back. I think he’ll struggle for consistency once again.

Conor: ‘Flop’ is a harsh word but I think it might be Tadic. Didn’t have a great season last year and can see his game time being even less this year, has proven he has the quality before but starting to show it less and less.

Nikos: Dusan Tadic. The consistency of Tadic’s performances have been diminishing for a while now, and the player who linked up seamlessly with Graziano Pelle a couple of seasons ago is a distant memory.

Luke:  Dusan Tadic. Arguably Southampton’s most inconsistent player. I now think Tadic believes he is better than he is and will once again perform frustratingly and see himself fall down Pellegrino’s pecking order.

Dan:  He flopped last season but I honestly don’t see him getting his act together this season, which is sad to say due to his dedication to the club in his first two seasons but, for me, I think it will be Dusan Tadic.

We all know what he’s capable of as we saw under Ronald Koeman. He has a great record of assists and has been able to put the ball in the back of the net too but there were serious attitude problems last season and I don’t think there will be much improvement on that.
