Who will Southampton’s top scorer be?

Chris: I think this season we’ll have a lot of players with a good handful of goals, like in Koeman’s final season. I think Gabbiadini will lead the way with about 13/14, with Austin on about nine and someone like Nathan Redmond also on a similar figure.

Conor: Manolo Gabbiadini – fox in the box, clever runs and has eased his way into the style of English football now. Full pre-season to get fit and gel with his teammates, would expect him to get 15+ this season.

Nikos: Manolo Gabbiadini. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be the only one to predict Gabbi here!

Firstly there aren’t many feasible options. And secondly he’s more adaptable and mobile than any of the other contenders. If the service is provided, he will get goals this season.

Luke: Gabbiadini  Same reason as mentioned before!

Dan: I have to say my Player of the Season will also finish top scorer (which is why he gets PO)! Gabbiadini really excites me over how well he can play with a full pre-season under his belt and being with us for a full season. If he is first choice over Austin, I’m sure he’ll score more than Charlie and so it should be a really exciting season for our Italian shooter!
