Finishing HAS to improve.

Positives can be taken from the way Southampton played this weekend, but the converting of chances has to improve.

Southampton may of had nearly 30 shots but they’re accuracy was only around ten percent, something which won’t help the Saints against tougher opponents. Despite their performance today against Manchester United, West Ham will be no easy opponent next week and will offer more going forward than the Swans.

The Saints need to be clinical in front of goal if they’re to succeed and pick up points against teams around them, simple as that. Whilst it’s not crisis-level just yet, it needs to improve before the fanbase gets worried.
