Southampton 3-2 West Ham: Four takeaways

Fraser Forster’s struggles continue
The England Goalkeeper was largely at fault for West Ham’s first goal. The 29-year-old could only parry Michael Antonio’s shot straight in the path of Javier Hernandez.
Even though Hernandez is a striker that gets on the end of everything, Forster really should have done better by grasping the ball or even tipping it out for a corner.
Forster has shown he is a capable player between the posts but his confidence is low and that’s shown through his body language.
In what is a massive individual season for Forster with the World Cup on the horizon, there has to be an improvement especially with the England No.1 goalkeeper position very much at stake. Joe Hart endured a tough last season in Italy and Jack Butland has been showing great promise so there has to be motivation for Forster.
