Southampton were awarded all three points after a dramatic win on Saturday against 10 men of West Ham.

It wasn’t all pretty, as the Saints surrendered a two goal lead following the Marko Arnautovic straight red.  A spot kick from Charlie Austin would seal the victory in extra time, thanks to a little inside information from Mark Noble.

It means that Southampton have propped themselves up onto four points, with a mid-week clash against Wolves between them and a game against Huddersfield next weekend.

However not all the Saints were at the top of their game in matchday two, but there were three key players that stood out in the win.  Let us know if you agree with our picks as the difference makers in Southampton’s triumph at St. Mary’s.
