Ryan Seager

MK Dons – Four appearances

Three seasons ago, Ryan Seager was being touted as the next big talent to emerge from the Southampton Academy, but it hasn’t all gone his way since then. Since suffering a cruciate ligament injury while on loan at Crewe last year, Seager has earned a two-year contract extension and an opportunity to prove himself on loan at League 1 MK Dons.

So far the Dons’ season has been a story of 1-0’s, two in their favour and two against. Although Seager hasn’t netted either of his team’s low goal tally, he has been involved in all four games, starting in both wins.

He also won a penalty in the latest win over Gillingham, but teammate Kieran Agard failed to convert it.

With a number of options across the front line, Seager will be hoping to get off the mark soon or risk losing his starting place. Saints fans would love to see Seager reach the potential he once promised, and at 21 this could be his last chance.
