Yesterday Southampton drew 0-0 with promoted side Huddersfield in an enjoyable, end-to-end affair at the John Smiths Stadium.

For the second time in three games, Mauricio Pellegrino’s side fired blank and picked up a point in a goalless draw. It means that the Saints have scored just once from open play in three games this season, highlighting the side’s issues up-front.

However, Southampton go into the first international break of the season with five points from three games, remaining undefeated whilst keeping two clean sheets on the way.

Against Huddersfield however some players enjoyed solid afternoons whilst some were quiet and had Saturday’s to forget. Saints Marching takes a look at how each player performed yesterday.
