Southampton head into the International break after an away visit to newly promoted Huddersfield ends 0-0.

Some Saints fans believe we should have come home with more. However, outside of a Nathan Redmond miss, and flurry of late chances, Southampton did not show enough class to win. Another goalless draw was not what I was expecting, but probably should have been.

It means that Southampton have just one goal from open-play in three games so far, with their other two being penalties. However they go into the international break undefeated, with two clean sheets from three.

The attack is clearly missing a dynamic, but the defense stepped up in big way to preserve the shutout. That is probably why these three players stood out as the top performers on Saturday.
