Fraser Forster
He had his hands full against Huddersfield who bent in a lot of quality crosses from the wings. The best save came when he threw his body at a ball that landed on his six. In that moment he showed no fear as Steve Mounie came crashing in and caught a piece of Forster on the way through.
A second save on a sudden Tom Ince strike showed fans he can still get to the ground quickly when needed.
It wasn’t all pretty however as he did drop a cross from the left side. Although, he made up for it with a quality secondary save on the ground. Forster also had a very awkward moment as a ball dribbled to his right. Luckily it resulted in the ball rolling out of play, but the Forster ended up into his own post.
Considering his so-so start to the season, and his omission from the Three Lions roster, Forster put in a solid game. The clean sheet marks two in three Premier League games, and he kept Southampton in it early. Let’s hope he builds on this performance in weeks ahead.
