Saints welcome Watford at St Mary’s this weekend as Premier League football continues after the international break.

The visitors have had a relatively successful start to the season, remaining unbeaten after one win and two draws, leaving them seventh in the table.

Saints share the same unbeaten record after three games, sat just below Watford in eighth place on goal difference. However, Mauricio Pellegrino’s side have score just once from open play so far this season with two of their goals against West Ham being from 12 yards.

Nonetheless the Saints could offer a debut to new young defender Wesley Hoedt, who is primed to make his first start after signing from Lazio last month.

Having struggled in their last game against Brighton which ended 0-0, Watford will be looking to make up lost ground with a key away win at St Mary’s, lead by these three key players.
