Étienne Capoue

Since joining the Hornets in 2015 from London rivals Tottenham, Capoue has been arguably one of their best players.

After seven goals in 37 appearances last season, with one against Saints in the 2016-17 season opener, the Frenchman is a threat all across the midfield, and will look to use his height and power to cause the hosts some problems.

With a lethal right foot, Capoue is most dangers shooting from 20+ yards, as well as feeding of any loose balls in and around the area. Saints will have to be switched on at all times to ensure he doesn’t score at St Mary’s for the second season in a row.
