It was a tough Saturday afternoon at St. Mary’s following Southampton FC’s disappointing 0-2 loss to Watford.
Mauricio Pellegrino clearly has his work cut out for him as that makes three out four league games without a goal. The attack was especially woeful putting just one shot on frame out of nine chances.
Saints fans were undoubtedly looking for a more decisive performance following the international break. However, few players were on top of their game and the team often looked out of sync. In my opinion, these were the three Southampton players that made an impact on match-day four.
