Sam Gallagher – Birmingham City

The subject of another last minute loan deal, Sam Gallagher will want to follow his positive season at Blackburn with another at Birmingham.

The Blues have had a terrible start to the season though. After losing their last six games in a row, Harry Redknapp has been shown the door. Gallagher made four appearances in that run, but unsurprisingly hasn’t scored.

The talk in Birmingham is that Gallagher is now expected to step up and get on the scoresheet although there is an understanding that he hasn’t received much service recently. The whole club will be hoping that a new manager can revive the team’s fortunes, and Gallagher will want to be a big part of that.
