Harrison Reed – Norwich City

After a good run in the first team at the start of the season, Reed has recently become a victim of the shake up that followed a heavy 4-0 defeat at Millwall at the end of August.

Since then he hasn’t started a game, and when he has featured it has been as a substitute.

As the season progresses Reed will hope that Daniel Farke gives him another opportunity in the first eleven. Norwich currently sit 12th in the table, and chances of a quick return to the Premier League are already less likely.

Their form has improved slightly since the shake up, with two narrow wins and a draw in the last three games. However they still need to show more going forward, and Reed will need to prove that he’s the right man to contribute to that.

Southampton will also want to see significant game time for Reed. If he doesn’t feature in the next few months Saints may consider recalling him (depending on the nature of the deal), then possibly loaning him to another club at the same level in January.
