Southampton FC disappointed Saturday with a 1-2 loss away to Stoke City. A sputtering attack was again to blame, with the only goal coming from center-defender Maya Yoshida.

Mauricio Pellegrino has some serious work to do, while heading into the international break.  Southampton now sits with 8 points from 7 games with just 5 goals scored. For this reason, Saints fans will be itching for changes to the eleven that has started 3 straight games.

Despite the loss, there were some excellent performances in the side, including Virgil Van Dijk.  The Dutchmen made his first appearance in 8 months, and proved he was missed.

Erik Franzo rates all the Southampton player performances from the weekend.  Who do you think deserves the highest praises?
