Southampton vs. West Brom: Opposition threat
By Edward Waugh
Following the 2-2 draw to Newcastle, Southampton will be looking to go one better against West Brom (WBA) this weekend at St. Mary’s.
The midlands club have a similar record as the Saints going into this game, this despite the Albion having an extremely poor record of late. Since late August, Tony Pulis’ men have not won a game, thus suggesting a good time for Saints to play the Baggies.
It should be well noted though that WBA or any Premier League team will offer Saints problems on the day and look to pick up at least a point on the road. The away team most likely looking to frustrate the home crowd by setting up with ten players behind the ball, and nicking a goal if it presents itself.
So, which WBA players are likely to cause these problems in that approach? Let’s have a look.
