Sofiane Boufal

The tricky winger was rewarded with his first start since the Watford game after scoring the match-winner against the Baggies, and he was one of the more impressive Southampton players on the day against Brighton.

Forced to track back a lot, Boufal recorded an impressive three tackles but also did he best to create on the offensive front, despite the general lack of support that Manolo Gabbiadini got.

The Moroccan offered more going forward than both Nathan Redmond and Dusan Tadic have when they have started, meaning the 24-year-old should be trusted with more starts in the future.
