Southampton vs. Burnley: Opposition threat

Southampton come up against Burnley this Saturday, in what looks to be a mid-table battle. The northern club have been a somewhat surprise package this season, so will pose Saints some threat.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche is currently in amongst speculation of being targeted by Everton. Which could be a means of distraction.

The English-man has shrugged it off as flattening, but Southampton fans themselves know that an offer from the Merseyside club could easily make his head turn.

Though, this could also motivate his side. Popular with his dressing room, his players might be up to win, in order to persuade Dyche to stay. So which players could make this happen, and therefore be a threat to Southampton? Let’s find out.
