Steven Davis

To be honest with you, I’m really struggling to come up with two others players who deserve to be written about as ‘key players’. However, Steven Davis has come into side to try and fill the big boots left by Mario Lemina.

He got on the ball so much yesterday and was trying to make things happen but he was just not successful. Confident on the ball, the Northern Irishman is normally at the heart of everything Saints do and leads by example for the rest of his teammates.

Sadly, there’s not much I can talk about from yesterday’s game in regards to Davis, but that’s like any other player in the side. If you can’t tell, I’m struggling for things to say about Davis from yesterday, but he was probably one of the best of a bad bunch.
