Rotation in midfield may be a regularity over Christmas.

After Romeu, Lemina and Hojbjerg all started against the Citizens on Wednesday, it was only goalscorer Romeu who retained a place in the starting lineup.

Both Lemina and Hojbjerg started on the bench which might’e been surprising as both are in good form but this may be part of a rotation policy. Games will be coming thick and fast soon but there will still be an entire week until our next game so why one of the two didn’t get a game was curious.

However, Lemina is still returning from injury and Hojbjerg played the majority of the game in Manchester but hopefully we’ll see a lot of the three defensive midfielders as they all possess undoubted talent and bring quality to the side!
