The tie with Huddersfield this weekend has become one of real importance. This is due to a run of poor results which has seen Southampton only win once in their last nine.

Of course, some of this run has included playing against some of the big teams in Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal. Though in games against Bournemouth and Brighton – weaker teams respectively – the Saints haven’t done the business. To add, they have been second rate at times.

In Huddersfield being a newly promoted side, they also fall into the category of being a weaker team than Southampton. The expectation should be for Saints to wrap up the three points. Though going off current form, many including myself will not be so confident of that.

The Terriers have quality in areas, and key players who could in-turn hurt Southampton, so who are they?
