Anthony Martial

Likely to replace Marcus Rashford in the second half, Martial is a huge threat from the substitute’s bench – having scored four times and assisted twice when coming on from it. Martial had a brilliant breakthrough season at Old Trafford, christening his controversial switch from AS Monaco with a brilliant goal against Liverpool.

Martial’s direct pace and dribbling is exactly why he is included as a threat to Southampton. Although Marcus Rashford is a similar player, I think that the French international’s fresh legs will be a lot more difficult to contain – especially with makeshift right-back Jack Stephens or inexperienced and wobbly Jeremy Pied having to do the containing at present in the absence of Cedric.

If Martial can find a cross to Lukaku/Ibrahimovic or a shot of his own, we could see Fraser Forster being seriously troubled.
