Daniel Sturridge

Sturridge has proven himself to be one of the most natural finishers playing in the Premier League in recent years, and he is said to want a move away from his current club Liverpool this month.

The England international has an impressive record of 75 goals and 29 assists in 194 Premier League matches despite being plagued with injury problems.

A loan move to Saints would be most likely to happen ahead of a permanent transfer, and it could be he move he needs to prove his fitness problems are behind him as well as keep his career on track.

Although high wage demands and fitness doubts may also put Saints off a deal, they are desperately in need of a natural goal scorer and quality competition in attacking areas of the pitch.
