Watford vs. Southampton: Opposition threat

Mentioned on many occasions this season, Southampton will be looking to achieve a positive result in what is considered a must win game. Mauricio Pellegrino’s men make the trip to Watford in the hope of building on their recent FA cup victory at Fulham.

Failure to do so, would only put more pressure on the unpopular Pellegrino, every game is now becoming the manager’s make or break reputation with the fans.

Their opponents Watford, could be there for the taking due to a poor run of form of late, though knowing the manager, it is unlikely he’ll go out on the attack. To some this will be disappointing, however the Hornets should not be underestimated, sitting 10th in the Premier League and having beat Saints in the reverse fixture 2-0, which could’ve been more on the day.
