Harry Kane

Heralded as the ‘world’s best striker’ last year, it is clear to see why Harry Kane will likely cause Southampton’s sloppy defence problems. He scored a hattrick on Boxing Day, and it wouldn’t be totally out of the question for him to repeat that feat, with Saints having picked up just two points since then.

Kane has 26 goals in 26 starts so far this season, so it’s clear to see why he is one of the most celebrated and coveted attacking players of a generation, with England’s World Cup hopes resting squarely on the 24-year-old’s shoulders.

Kane poses a threat in almost every aspect of forward play, from his long-shots to his aerial ability. Southampton will have a real task on their hands to contain Kane, with Wesley Hoedt likely to have to man-mark Kane out of the game.
