Christian Eriksen

Eriksen has been impressive yet again this season in his fifth term in North London, having scored 37 goals for Spurs since joining from Ajax in 2013.

Eriksen’s main threat comes from set-pieces, through either crosses into the box or shots on goal. Much like Harry Kane, the Danish international’s long range efforts can also cause Southampton problems.

The midfielder is also a very adept finisher, exemplified by his sweeping finish last week at Wembley, capping off a wonderful team move brilliantly by stroking past Jordan Pickford in the Everton net.

Southampton will need to keep tight to Eriksen at all times, and defensive midfielders Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or Oriol Romeu are both capable of doing that well.
