We still can’t kill teams off!

Despite only needing one goal to win the game, Southampton really should’ve had at least another one or two just to make their advantage more comfortable.

Shane Long missed a string of good opportunities whereas Boufal and Tadic didn’t really do enough closer to the box.

Hojbjerg was unlucky not to score a worldie but, on reflection, at least one of those chances should’ve been put away to provide a bit of breathing space. Luckily, Watford were incredibly poor which meant that we got away with it but against another side we would’ve paid the price and have seen it already many times this season.
