Stephens deserves to start more

After finally scoring his first senior goal for Southampton, Stephens had another solid overall performance alongside Wesley Hoedt.

The 24-year-old looks comfortable on the ball and can ping a pass from a real distance; a replica of Hoedt if you like.

Despite still being young, Stephens has matured greatly in the past year since being a regular in the first-team setup and clearly has a lot more potential to stay in the side for the rest of the season at the very least!
