Jay Rodriguez

Former Saint Jay Rodriguez is in hot form at the moment, and has five goals in his last seven appearances in league and cup.

This impressive run includes a clinical double in West Brom’s win at Anfield last weekend where he looked to be close to some of the form he showed in a Southampton shirt.

He may have lost some of his pace since a horrible knee ligament injury in 2014, but he still possesses direct running at opposition defences and a good finish when under pressure.

With the Saints team struggling to create and score goals for a second straight season, Rodriguez will be hoping to prove that he still has the quality that his old team so desperately miss.
