Attackers and subsitutes

Striker. Southampton. GUIDO CARILLO. 6. It was a rather disappointing full-debut for record-signing Guido Carillo, who had two decent chances which he couldn’t finish off. Of course, the service wasn’t fantastic but the striker is still taking some time to settle in with his new teammates in a new league.

Long didn’t do a lot after coming on for the final 15 minutes of the game, however the striker missed a golden opportunity to put the game to bed. A brilliant cross from Cedric found the Irishman’s head but the ball was blasted over from a short distance.. Substitute striker. Southampton. SHANE LONG. 5
