Yesterday afternoon Southampton came out as victors in a five-goal thriller over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

It was the Saints’ first league win since November when they defeated Everton, and it also meant that the Saints did the double over the Baggies who sit firmly at the bottom of the table.

The win means Southampton are now out of the bottom three, sitting 15th just a point behind Watford in 11th.

It was just the second time the Saints had scored more than two goals in a game as well too, with the aforementioned victory over the Toffees being the only other occasion.

The Saints have lost just once since since the turn of the year and are unbeaten in six in all competitions, although next up for Mauricio Pellegrino’s men with the small task of facing Liverpool.

But looking back to yesterday, who were the standout performers from the Saints’ victory?
