Johann Berg Gudmundsson

The Icelandic winger offers arguably Burnley’s biggest threat from out wide due to his superior crossing ability – it was his delivery that set up Vokes in the reverse fixture.

Gudmundsson has five league assists to his name this season and has been impressive throughout, grabbing both of his goals since the turn of the year too.

He’s capable of playing just about anywhere behind the striker but we’re likely to see him deployed down the right flank, meaning Ryan Bertrand will have a tough task dealing with him throughout.

The 27-year-old will be more than aware of Bertie’s tendencies to drift forward and overlap meaning the Saints need to wary of counter attacks – although we know Pellegrino sets his team in a way that fears being caught on the break anyway.
