Guido Carrillo
Southampton striker Guido Carrillo went another appearance without a goal for the Saints yesterday, marking six without finding the back of the net since his record move.
However, the Argentine now has two smart assists in as many games, with his smart header teeing up Gabbiadini perfectly.
Most strikers – being naturally selfish players – would’ve tried to direct the header on target but for Carrillo to pick out his fellow forward shows the kind of intelligence needed to snatch points in this crucial period. With that being said, a forward’s selfish nature is far from a bad thing, and Carrillo will need to find the back of the net soon.
