Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

The Danish International is one of the few players to pour his heart and soul into every game.  He got the start over Oriol Romeu in this one, but in hindsight, Mario Lemina should have been left on the bench.

There was a moment late in the game (picture above) where he dug himself out of the corner, with quality footwork, displaying the fight left in him.

Hojbjerg played a box to box game, and with a little more attacking prowess, probably should have created a goal.

He was caught ball-watching on the third goal, but for spirit alone, he deserves our recognition.
