Mauricio Pellegrino

Pellegrino continues to be a key player in the Saints demise.

It is entirely speculation, but his post game comments, and the double switch at half, has me wondering if he lost the lost the locker room entirely.  If you watched closely, the two subs, Lemina and Tadic, were arguing throughout the first half, and it probably continued into the tunnel.

His decisions to bench the reigning player of the year Oriol Romeu, captain Ryan Bertrand, and start Guido Carrillo and Dusan Tadic as the central attack are clear head-scratchers.

Pellegrino continues to talk about spirit and positive mentality, which are key cogs in relegation battles.  However, the Argentine manager continues to set forth a negative game plan, which asks the team to build from the back, and rely solely on a wide attack.

Many thought there was at least a chance he would start two strikers against Newcastle, but who are we really kidding?

Saints fans must continue to support the club, and provide the push the team desperately needs through this difficult time.  In reality, it is almost an impossible task, when our faith lies in the hands of a manager that does not have the guts to change a broken system.
