Max Power

Power is the main man in Wigan’s midfield, having made 35 appearances in all competitions for the Lactics already this term. The Englishman is in his third season with the Lactics and this one has by far been the most impressive.

The midfielder has four goals and seven assists to his name so far this season and started both games against Premier League sides West Ham and Manchester City so he’s already had the luxury of competing against top-flight footballers.

In terms of experience, the FA Cup has been the 24-year-old’s only source of facing Premier League sides as he transferred from Tranmere Rovers in 2015 and hasn’t played in games as big as this in terms of what is at stake.

Hopefully, come Sunday Hughes will have a game plan and can take us to Wembley in only his first game in charge! However, despite being a third-tier side, Wigan will have confidence and a side of decent players who could punish Saints if they’re not respectful of their opposition.
