Gabbiadini could have had a really big day, but the look on his face following the penalty save says it all.  He never could have imagined this season at Southampton, and not scoring today is unlikely to change that mindset.  You have to find the video of his miss following the errant back pass, it is that unbelievable.  Then creating a penalty, but having it saved just 10 minutes later cannot help his confidence.  What is positive, is his teammates were more willing to find his runs off the ball, evident of Redmond’s pass that led to the penalty.. 7. Came on in the 63rd minute replacing Boufal on the left wing.  Was very helpful tracking back in defense, and looking to spring on the counter.  His pass to Gabbiadini down the centre of the field was something Southampton has been lacking all season.. 7.5. Shane Long was the perfect closer in this game.  Took a lot of pressure off the defense with hold up play and forcing fouls.  Only on the field for 10+ minutes, but he made an impact.. Substitute, Striker. Southampton. SHANE LONG
